MAHA residents pay a monthly assessment which covers, in general, the following services:
– Landscaping and grounds maintenance/upkeep, including watering;
– Snowplowing of parking lots and sidewalks;
– Removal of trash from association containers (household garbage and recycling is removed by the City. Click here for more information: MAHA Garbage and Recycling Guide);
– Recordkeeping, bookkeeping, and accounting services;
– Social gatherings; and
– Annual meeting costs.
A portion of the monthly assessment is set aside in a reserve fund for capital improvements. In addition, MAHA has the authority to levy special assessments. No special assessment has been levied in the past and none is contemplated in the future.

MAHA owns 68 parking spaces in eight parking lots that it leases to residents and commercial lessees. For those houses located on the east side of Milwaukee Avenue and on 23rd Ave. S. that do not have off-street parking or alley access, MAHA provides one restricted space for each house. The remaining parking spaces are leased on a first-come, first-served basis to neighborhood residents. A waiting list is maintained for those that would like to rent a space, but for which no space is currently available. Contact email@example.com to be placed on the waiting list.
